Allusions
2006 - 2008

Paul Valery said that "to see is to forget the names of what one sees."

I have tried in this series to transcend the usual, the expected, the understood.
Instead I have looked closely at my subject matter and tried to expand my vision
and my ideas about the reality of our world.

Whether successful or not, this series has helped me move to close observation
of the physical world and to try to see it in a way that is not preconceived.
